Jakarta, Autos.id – Ketua MPR RI sekaligus Ketua Umum Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) dan Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Bambang Soesatyo mendukung rencana Taksi Terbang Ehang 216 sebagai moda trasportasi futuristik untuk Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN). Hal tersebut disampaikan Bamsoet saat bersama pimpinan tembaga negara lainnya dan para menteri Kabinet Indonesia Maju mendampingi Presiden Joko Widodo meresmikan Kereta Cepat Whoosh Senin (2/10/23).
“Saat dalam perjalanan menuju Bandung bersama Presiden Jokowi dengan Kereta Cepat Whoosh, saya menyampaikan dukungan atas rencana IKN membangun ekosistem transportasi modern serta elektrik dan bebas polusi sebagai moda transportasi masa depan. Hal ini selaras dengan keinginan Presiden tentang transportasi yang futuristik untuk IKN,” ujar Bamsoet di Jakarta, Rabu (4/10/23).
Ketua DPR RI ke-20 dan Mantan Ketua Komisi III Bidang Hukum ini juga menjelaskan spesifikasi EHang 216 dan berbagai keunggulannya secara langsung kepada Presiden Joko Widodo dalam perbincangannya di gerbong kereta “Whoosh”.
“Kendaraan Udara Otonom, EHang 216 Insya Allah sudah sangat siap untuk langsung digunakan di IKN maupun di seluruh penjuru Indonesia sebagai moda transportasi. Kendaraan canggih ini 100% listrik sehingga ramah lingkungan, dan sudah digunakan diberbagai belahan dunia, bukan hanya untuk muatan barang (cargo,) melainkan juga dengan penumpang (passenger),” jelas Bamsoet.
Di kesempatan terpisah, Executive Chairman Prestige Aviation Rudy Salim juga menyatakan bahwa Urban Air Mobility adalah masa depan transportasi Indonesia. Semoga dengan komitmen Prestige Aviation dalam memajukan transportasi Indonesia.
“Kami dapat memberikan kontribusi terbaik untuk negeri ini. Kami siap untuk melakukan investasi juga Uji Terbang di IKN, seperti EHang yang telah sukses terbang dengan penumpang di beberapa negara diantaranya Belanda, Austria, dan China,” ujar Rudy.

Tercatat lebih dari 30.000 penerbangan sukses baik cargo maupun penumpang di berbagai negara seperti Jepang, Korea, Amerika Serikat, Dubai, Qatar, Kanada, Indonesia dan China. Teknologi penerbangan otonom pada EHang 216 menghilangkan kemungkinan kegagalan atau kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh kesalahan manusia (human error) sehingga sangat terjamin keamanannya.

Pertama, lewat kerjasama Prestige Aviation dengan Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI), unit EHang 216 Official Aircraft IMI yang merupakan unit pertama di Indonesia, berhasil melakukan demo terbang di Bali pada bulan November 2021.
